The highest sand dune in the world
The highest sand dune in the world
White hill, which reaches an altitude of 2078 meters above sea level, and more than 900 meters from its base, is considered the highest stable dune in the world. Sands formed by the wind thousands of years ago from the peaceful oceans. It is a “sacred Apu” for the Nazca culture and they say it encloses a microclimate, not only for its altitude, but also for its location, at the foot of the Peruvian Andes, between these and the Pacific Ocean.
It is located in the Valley, or Pampa, of Nazca. You can access its skirt in all terrain and to the top doing an approximate walk of 3 hours. Then we will slide in table with a previous instruction, this summit gives stunning views of the Andes, the valley and the Pacific.

The sand dunes are massive and the views are stunning. We had the opportunity to try different kinds of sandboarding and they showed us the best techniques. The experience was exhilarating and I had so much fun!
