Itinerary

Tipón

A large impressive growing space containing 12 terraces that are currently cultivated, whose walls were built with finely carved stones, even more impressive, is the irrigation system that is still serving agriculture and the advantage is the water intake in the spring season.

Pikillacta

It has characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the time of development of the Wari empire with more than a thousand constructions between squares, colcas (food storehouses), courts or houses, temples, long and narrow streets with buildings that had up to 4 stories high.

Andahuaylillas

Typical Andean village of the time of the colony of singular origin and architecture. Outstanding in Andahuaylillas is its Catholic temple from the colonial period with beautiful decoration and mural painting from the 17th and 18th centuries known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. On the return we will pass by Saylla, typical Cuzco town where you can enjoy the delicious pork rinds (optional).

We will be returning to the city of Cusco at 3:30 pm approximately

The Andahuaylillas Temple is an incredible sight to behold. The interior is impressive, featuring detailed frescoes, carved wooden altars, and stunning stonework. I highly recommend visiting the Andahuaylillas Temple if you get the chance. It truly is a sight to behold.
