The Inca Trail is one of the most beautiful and important trails in South America, which houses along its more than 40 kilometers impressive Inca ruins, mountainous landscapes, cloud forests and a diverse flora and fauna. The ancient inhabitants of Tahuantinsuyo used this route to make a pilgrimage to the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu. Follow in their footsteps and make your visit to Cusco an unforgettable experience.

Very Important

Although the regulations of Expeditions to the Inca Trail, says that reservations must be made 5 days before, the most advisable is to make the reservation well in advance, the average in high season indicates that 90 days before departure there is no more space, This is because only 500 people can go per day, only then will be able to conserve the route of erosion, pollution of the road network and the Sanctuary of Machupicchu. So it is necessary to pay in advance for permits

About the Porters

The work performed by porters, is to carry during the whole trip, all the luggage of the group (tents, kitchen, utensils, water, food, equipment, chairs, tables, etc.), Tourists carry their personal luggage, a backpack with things for personal use (clothes, cosmetics, ointments, canteen, flashlight, matra, sleeping bag etc., if the tourist does not want to take his personal things (which happens a little), he must hire an extra carrier to carry his personal things. The price is USD 120.00 for the first 3 days, the 4th day is not necessary.

Upon arrival in Machupicchu, we will make a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the main remains and monuments, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and cemeteries. The scenery was breathtaking, and the ruins along the way were fascinating. The campsites were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious.
