A new and good alternative to trekking, for those before the adventure and for those people who did not find a place for the Inca trail – classic Machupicchu. This alternative leads us to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu with landscapes between lagoons, mountains such as the snowcapped Humantay and Salkantay, a route of our Quechua ancestors where we can appreciate a progression of the various ecological floors, crossing through flowing rivers, in the mountain range we visit Thermo-Natural Waters; entering the forest eyebrow region of abundant tropical vegetation, appreciating orchids of different colors, birds like the Hummingbirds and parrots of the humid forests. The last day of the trekking very early we will visit the city Perdida de los Inkas – Machupicchu and that same day in the afternoon we return to Cusco.

From the stunning views of the Andes to the exciting treks along ancient Inca trails, the Salkantay Trek was the perfect way to explore the unique beauty of the region.

The trek was extremely well organized. Our group was provided with all the necessary gear and supplies and our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We were also provided with delicious meals each day, which were a welcome break from the long days of trekking.
