    Difficulty : 2

The Bay of San Fernando is located about 70 Km. southwest of the city of Nazca, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, within the district of Marcona. This wonderful bay is the refuge of a variety of animals, such as the great Andean Condor, the sea otter, the Humboldt penguins, tendrils, cormorants, Peruvian pelicans, oysters and thousands of sea lions. The Bay of San Fernando is synonymous with marine paradise, since the existing fauna and beauty of its environment is unmatched. In addition to living in the sea, visitors can also see the South American camelid known as Guanaco, which inhabits the hills adjacent to San Fernando Bay.

The bay is home to a variety of penguins and sea birds, making it a great spot for birdwatchers. The water is crystal clear and the beach is made up of white sand. I was able to spot several different species of penguins.

I had an amazing time in the Bay of San Fernando and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful spot to spend the day.
